Job Summary:
To support the administration teams with regards to ensuring that Praxis Trust (BVI) Limited remains compliant with all BVI regulatory obligations.
Job Accountabilities:
Tasks to include but not limited to:
> Ensuring that statutory records are kept up-to-date and are accurate at all times
> Performing annual regulatory reviews of all entities
> Liaising with the BVI Financial Services and other competent bodies in relation to the submission and filing of all regulatory matters for clients and in-house entities
> Ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met in a timely manner
> Maintaining appropriate records of all submissions made
> Ensuring clients are advised of all regulatory timelines
> Ensuring all filing requirements for ES, CRS and FATCA are adhered to
> Ensure relevant classifications and updates are on file
> Support the technological Remedial Project
> Stay up to date with changes in legislative and professional standards that impact our regulatory
obligations
> Liaising with respective departments regarding accounting and taxation issues
> Liaising with clients and intermediaries both by telephone and in writing
> May assist more junior staff with queries/problems
Minimum Education and Experience
> A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience during which own portfolio of clients has been managed
> A relevant professional qualification
Required Skills
> Comprehensive Knowledge of the governing legislations
> Comprehensive knowledge of new ES platform on VIRRGIN
> Proven track record in handling complex matters
> Excellent time management and organizational skills
> Sound judgement
> Excellent communication skills
> Sound Knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory framework within which Praxis BVI operates.
