Our central services team provides centralised support to the Group. Job summary:
This role is responsible for providing support to the Central Finance department with a focus on developing and maintaining processes and models for financial forecasting and analysis. The Finance Analyst will develop the modelling used and ensure accurate and dynamic collation of financial information to support Group Finance, CFO/CEO and wider Group to analyse historic performance and provide forecasting and projections for future decision-making.
Job accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain processes and models including automating tasks for consolidation and validation of financial data for the Group;
- Provide performance analysis and forecasting assistance to the Support functions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support;
- Analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement;
- Provide support for the groupwide annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting processes;
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to provide financial expertise and support;
- Other duties – to be available to assist with other duties and/or project work as and when required.
Minimum education and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience;
- Educated to A ‘Levels standard, or equivalent;
- Attainment of a relevant professional qualification, e.g. ACCA, ICA or equivalent. Attainment of a relevant qualification at Certificate level e.g. CAT
Required skills
- Experience with Financial Forecasting and Analysis;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong Excel skills (and preferably SQL/PBi capabilities);
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Ability to build morale and team spirit and act as an ambassador of the Group’s values.
