Job accountabilities
To assist with a range of day-to-day tasks including, but not restricted to:
- Maintaining chart of accounts to ensure payments and source of funds can be processed efficiently.
- Understanding the different requirements and processes for different categories of assets and liabilities.
- Maintaining and updating accounting registers on our system.
- Assisting the team with bookkeeping.
- Supporting the team with the preparation of client reporting.
- Ensuring timesheet is completed daily.
Minimum education and experience
- Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent
- Some office or general administrative experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Required skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal English,
- Good IT skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Willingness to learn both through professional qualifications and on the job training.
- An interest in understanding the different areas of the company, the services Praxis provides, and our values and culture.
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and offshore fiduciary services would be beneficial
