Job summary:
To oversee the management of the day-to-day running of a portfolio of offshore companies and trusts dealing with a wide variety of tasks which will range in complexity. Furthermore, to provide supervision of a small team of administration staff located in Guernsey. Act as an B signatory to client bank accounts and operating boards under the Praxis client signing arrangements.
Job accountabilities:
Day to day duties will include:
- Statutory work – ensuring that statutory records are kept up to date and are accurately maintained at all times
- Reviewing and approving payments
- Reviewing and approving board resolutions/minutes as a B signatory under the Praxis client signing arrangements
- Ensuring internal policies and procedures are adhered to
- Liaising with internal departments on legal, accounting, and taxation matters which range in complexity with regard to matters that will range in complexity
- Liaison with the clients and intermediaries both by telephone and in writing, and such matters will range in complexity
- To train and assist junior staff with queries/problems
- Assisting the Manager as necessary
- Attend and conduct performance and objective reviews
- To assist with the management of a team on a daily basis and providing advice and assistance as required
Minimum education and experience:
- Educated to ‘A’ Level standard, or equivalent
- A minimum of five years’ relevant experience
- Achieved or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification i.e. STEP Certificate/Diploma
